What is your educational background? I attended Dobson Elementary, Central Middle School, and Surry Central High School. I then went on to UNC-Greensboro where I earned my B.S. and M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology.
Where do you teach? What grade level(s) and subject area(s)? I am currently the Social Emotional Learning and Compliance Coordinator for the district. I was a speech-language pathologist for 8 years prior to this position.
How many years have you been in education? This is my 9th year in education.
Tells us about your family. I have been married to my husband, Matthew, for almost ten years. We have two adorable, fun-loving daughters, Becca and Mattie.
What is your favorite part of the year and why? My favorite part of the year is the fall. I love the weather, watching the leaves change colors and the fun fall traditions, like visiting the pumpkin patch with my family.
