Elke’s Angel’s Inc. is a non-profit, recently formed in memory of Elke Boyd, whose mission is to send small comforts to those who are battling cancer and to keep Boyd’s memory and work alive.
The organization will have an event on Thursday, September 3 at Riverside Park in Mount Airy beginning at 7:00 pm. This event is donations only and will serve as a celebration of Elke's life and means to continue her work in caring for cancer patients. There will be hats ($10 donation) and shirts ($15 donation) available as well.
All proceeds will go towards care packages for cancer patients.
