Dr. Kim Morrison, Chief Academic and Innovation Officer, Mount Airy City Schools, was one of 30 curriculum leaders who completed the Emerging Trends Leadership Development Program co-sponsored by the North Carolina School Superintendents’ Association (NCSSA), the International Center for Leadership in Education, and the Burroughs Wellcome Fund. The 18-month long leadership development initiative required K12 education leaders to closely examine the major trends that will impact what North Carolina students will need to know and do to be successful in our technological/information-based society.
