The Board of Education recently reviewed long-term facility planning for athletics at Mount Airy High School. If you are interested in joining in on the capital campaign for the press box or any of these athletic projects, contact Dr. Sandy George.

The Mount Airy City Schools District Spelling Bee took place on Wednesday, February 7th at Mount Airy Middle School.

Request for Qualification will be received until 3:00PM EST on March 15, 2024.

Mount Airy City Schools is proud to announce that six educators have earned the title of National Board Certified Teacher.

The Lighthouse School Award is presented annually to one or more North Carolina schools that have innovatively and creatively increased achievement for students. MAHS was one of two schools in the state to receive this prestigious award at NCASCD’s annual conference held in Pinehurst.
